our difference
Grass-fed, Organic & Naturally Raised
Our line of beef is comprised primarily of Black Angus cattle, with some Red Angus & Hereford. They stay on our land from birth until butcher. We do not use antibiotics or hormones. Our cattle are fed grass from beginning until end on open-range, healthy grasses specifically grown for our cattle. We bypass the feedlots and personally deliver our cows to the butcher on the scheduled day, then pick them up for direct delivery to you at the designated location. This allows us to provide you all the flavor without the feedlot exposure.

Cooking
Grass-fed Beef
Organic, grass-fed, hormone-&-antibiotic free beef cooks differently than store-bought and grain-finished beef. Grass-fed tends to cook faster than other beef and pairs well with cooking fats for flavor such as olive oil. Our beef is extremely tender and contains a high percentage of good fats (i.e., Omega 3s & CLA) in addition to antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.* Not seeing your question? We’ve got you covered! The date, day & time of delivery is coordinated with advanced notice of at least 1 months time for each order. Your prompt arrival is necessary as the meat has come fresh & frozen.
the cuts you’ll receive
We sell our beef by the quarter, half & whole. Each quarter is approx. 80 lbs. and contains a mix of ground beef, roasts, & steaks of various cuts (e.g., ribeyes, t-bones, etc.).
freezer space
Each cubic foot of freezer space holds approximately 40 lbs. However, for the varied cuts of meat, you may need slightly more space to accommodate the odd packaging.
